yes things are generally pretty bland out there however there are still a few play v player skirmishes that pop up.  When one does it REALLY gets the blood flowing again. 
 Otherwise there is still building and the social aspect to develop and use. As boring and mindless and frustrating as NPC's are thank goodness there were introduced years ago.   
just had to put something up besides those Negative waves of the game being Dead dead dead.

I have gone back to Real Player targets with the occasional npc thrown in as the game (Like you say) was just too bland.
