Yes, I saw your other post. :)  Out of 35 NPC's, two had multiple large decoys and 4 were gigantic zero-techs.

As we all know the NPCs are flawed to the Nth degree. my question would be: if we did hit that target and we took out everything and all was left was a lets say 10 of 12 of the decoys it had,can we lodge a complaint that we should get the plunder because we would have destroyed it as we did destroy decoy/decoys that would normally not be duplicated?

I doubt it because you could just attack it again for the plunder.
